I just thought I'd let you know about a rather intriguing event that's happening this weekend at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema...
This year, as well as the traditional Carnival Party, another (quite less jolly) event is being held for carnival Weekend - Silenced Scream II.
The year is 1948. Malta is still slowly recovering from the terrors of WWII. In a mental hospital, a grisly murder has happened, and it's up to you to discover who the perpetrator is, by walking through the corridors of the hospital and talking to various suspects along the way.
Think of it as life-sized Cluedo...
The first edition of this "Haunted-house/murder-mystery" game was held on the 29th & 30th October 2010 - you can view the interactive walk-through here.
Anyone who's interested in taking part, can find the application on the facebook event, along with further details about the times and contact info.
Fair warning: includes lots of frights and is not ideal for sufferers of claustrophobia... ;)
